A chemical assessment is a type of interview meant to diagnose substance use disorders. The assessment appointment typically lasts one hour in length. During the meeting, a trained clinician will interview the person being evaluated and inquire on many different areas of that person’s life. The goal is for the clinician to determine if a underlying addiction issue exists, and if so, help that person receive counseling, medication, or treatment. Sometimes it is referred to as a rule 25, alcohol assessment, or chemical dependency evaluation. Call 612.263.9677 now to schedule a chemical assessment.
